Microsoft Office Document Viewer
UFV opens Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In addition to viewing Microsoft Office files, UFV also allows for editing of Word and Excel files within the app, making it a convenient and integrated solution for your document needs.

1. Word Documents
UFV supports Word files saved in both .DOC and .DOCX file extensions. and offers editing and printing features for Word documents.
All Word viewer functions can be accessed through various tabs located at the top of the viewer window.
- The File tab provides access to file-level operations, including:
- saving the current file
- saving a copy as a new file
- opening a Word document
- creating a new document, and
- printing
- The Home tab is the main function of the Word viewer and contains all the essential editing and formatting tools you need to work on your document.
- The Insert tab allows you to add tables, pictures, and hyperlinks to your document.
- The Page Layout tab lets you switch between normal and flow layout, while the Visual Style menu gives you the option to change the appearance of the Word viewer by choosing from different pre-defined color sets.
To help you see your document clearly, the Word viewer also features a zoom level adjustment slider located in the lower-right corner of the window.

2. Excel Spreadsheet
UFV supports Excel files in XLSX and XLS formats, as well as CSV files. The Spreadsheet viewer provides a range of functions for viewing and editing Excel spreadsheets.
- File tab: offers file level operations that allow you to view file properties and information, create a new spreadsheet file, open an existing file, save the current file or save it as a new file, and close the current file.
- Home tab: presents the main functions of the spreadsheet viewer, providing you with all the essential editing and formatting tools you need to create, edit, and format an Excel file.
- Data tab: offers advanced data manipulation functions such as Grouping, Ungrouping, Data Validation, and Name Manager.
- View tab: allows you to configure your viewing preferences for a spreadsheet document. You can freeze panes, show or hide gridlines, formula bar, and headings. Additionally, you can add, edit, and manage comments.

3. PowerPoint Prensentation
The PowerPoint viewer allows you to easily open PPTX files and provides you with the option to view, print, and even convert the presentation to a PDF file. However, editing of PPTX files is not supported in the PowerPoint viewer. All functions can be accessed through the toolbar buttons located at the top of the viewer window.
- Open PPTX: Choose and open PPTX files in the viewer
- Print PPTX: Print the presentation file using the system printing dialog box
- Convert to PDF: Easily convert your PPTX file to PDF format for sharing
- Navigate Pages: Navigate between pages using the left or right arrows on the toolbar or by pressing the Left or Right arrow key on your keyboard. In Slide-deck mode, simply click on a slide thumbnail to view its full content.
- Change View Mode: Transform the way you view your slides by switching to the full-window Presentation mode with a click of the Presentation mode icon at the top-right of the viewer window. Effortlessly switch back to Slide-deck mode with a simple double-click.
